As a counsellor I strongly believe in the human capacity to make positive changes, whilst valuing everyone’s individuality and uniqueness.

My aim is to:

  • Help you to gain new insight into understanding yourself and your challenges and to develop in a way that suits you.
  • Support you to find your inner voice and manage your difficulties.
  • Empower you in making any changes that you wish to make.

Being client-led, this process is done at your pace. I will work in collaboration with you, enabling you to explore your thoughts and feelings, while supporting you in a calm, confidential, secure and warm space.

I want to hear your voice and understand all that you say. Together we will open a window to a clearer perspective.

In my private practice I see clients from all walks of life and I work with both adults and young people.

I strongly believe in the uniqueness of us all, I can never know you better than you know yourself. My intention is not to offer you advice but to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences.

I will provide a confidential, supportive and safe environment in which you can do this. It is important to me that all clients feel valued and comfortable enough that they feel able to explore a range of issues. The range of issues clients can present with often include anxiety, depression, difficulties in managing anger, family issues, low mood, both work and school related stress, low self-esteem or confidence and relationship issues.

I have significant experience supporting clients who have suffered recent or historical loss and bereavement. I also currently manage a school counselling provision for 11 to 16 year olds.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
